Judy NorsigianExecutive director and co-founder of Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, Ms. Norsigian is a co-author of Our Bodies, Ourselves (1974) and Our Bodies, Ourselves for the New Century (1998). She served for more than 14 years on the board of the National Women’s Health Network and now is a board member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research. She has served on several Institute of Medicine committees related to contraceptive research, planning committees for the Office of Research on Women’s Health at the National Institutes of Health, and the advisory board of the Council for Responsible Genetics. Her primary interests include reproductive health, tobacco and women, genetics and midwifery advocacy. In 2002, she was the recipient of the Massachusetts Health Council annual award.
