For many years, Dr. Littlefair and his family have
spent their summers on an island called Eilean Gowan
a hundred miles north of Toronto, Canada. It is quiet
and secluded there in the middle of a chain of lakes
known as Muskoka.
The following pictures are silent testimony to his
love of solitude and nature, close family ties, friendships,
rest and entertainment.
In a very mystical way, it is the spirit of Muskoka
that inspires and nurtures many of Dr. Littlefair's
sermon ideas. Much of his genius seems to have been
born in these far reaches of Canada's north country
during his endless summers of exile and study.
