A series of 14 panels was prepared for installation in the narthex (vestibule) of the Meeting House of the First Parish and the First Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts (Unitarian Universalist). Here is an online version of that document which celebrates the history of the Church from the early seventeenth century to the early twentieth century.

It is hard to think of any other religious institution in the United States that embodies the heritage of American Civilization more vividly than the Church in Harvard Square.

The co-authors of the historic panels are three longtime members of the Church: Conrad Wright, Harvard University Professor of American Church History, Emeritus; Constance Kirwan, artist and graphic designer; and her husband, Ernest Kirwan, an architect and planner. The Designer of this website is Andrew Drane.
